Ali Zand Vakili

Ali Zand Vakili (Persian: علی زند وکیلی, born February 16, 1986, in Shiraz) is an Iranian singer, composer, and music teacher. He began his music career as a child by singing and playing the tonbak. In 1998, after the establishment of Shiraz Music Conservatory, he was among its first entrants. After studying there for three years and learning instruments such as santour, piano, and tonbak, he entered the Tehran Conservatory of Music in 2002 and graduated. He later gained wider recognition with the release of his “Lullaby” piece.
